Speaking of Weatherby's

I am looking for some good loads for my 270 wdby, something that will at least duplicate factory ballistics and improve accurace with either Barnes 140 gr, "X" or Nossler 150 gr partition - need it for elk as a back-up to the '06.

  wthby uses a MAX load of IMR7828 in factory ammunition (this from an employee to an FFL friend of mine). Keep in mind, their max load will be a bit higher than the book due to their long freebore.
  
  why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
