    Cannon Ball,

I've loaded for the Clark and at least 2 other variations of this cartridge. Currently, I'm shooting a 22-6mm AI which has a bit more powder and a true 40 degree shoulder and a 22-243 AI with a true 40 degree shoulder. Powders that will work well in your rifle should be:

    Re-22
    Ramshot Magnum
    V V N-165
    AA-3100
    H-4831SC

This is based on the longer 75 and 80 gr. bullets. I would save the Clark bullets since they are collectible and there is a good selection of suitable bullets available today.

This data is from another source:

80 grain Sierra HPBT using Winchester cases, and Federal 215 primer is and a final case capacity of 62.0 grains of water. These cases are made from RWS brass necked down, neck turned, fireformed and then annealed for final sizing. Start 10% lower and work up carefully looking for signs of pressure:

    50.0 grains IMR 7828 - 3,557 fps
    51.0 grains IMR 7828 - 3,650 fps
    52.0 grains IMR 7828 - 3,719 fps (Maximum)

    55.0 grains H1000 - 3,629 fps (Maximum)

    Best.
