Deer hunting .44 Ammo

Anyone have any exoeriance with the 250 grain Platinum Tip Hollow Point ammo from Winchester? I would like to try to take a deer with my .44 and I have two boxes of this ammo I picked up at a garage sale. It looks like it will do the trick but I just want to hear from some of you guys.
