After lots of working with these powders for paintball I have found the RCBS chargemaster will meter either of them equally well usually staying within a tenth of a grain, while a products like the Dillon 550 can vary as much as one full grain +/-. Again always remember safety first when reloading for paintball you don't want any light loads or any too hot. I believe that talcum actually has a slightly quicker burn rate, but you get a little more out of baby powder depending with a longer barrel. Of course any custom porting could also effect your muzzle velocity.
