I used to use plastic but switched to wood, like the feel and comfort of wood. 0 -
Wood. 0 -

Never trust a government that doesnt trust its own citizens with guns
--Thomas Jefferson
Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath?

I don't use them. Rounds go from the separator, to the powder measure to the press to have a bullet seated. I do recycle the foam and plastic trays from factory ammo to store loaded ammo when done.

WOOD!!!!!!!!!mostly because with wood you don't get "static". 0 -
I have both wood and plastic load blocks, I use the plastic blocks more because I can put them in the dishwasher to remove the case lube. 0 -
Mine are all plastic. Wood would be cool. I had to make a wood block with nails to hold casings while I hit it with "One-shot" lub as the One=shot melted my plastic blocks.

Get a wood block. those one size fits all plastic ones are a pain. I've yet to find a caliber that fits into one without rattling around.

As much as I like wood blocks, I have two, I generally use the plastic tray from the box that I bought the ammo in. I have a few spares of each caliber that I reload, and it ensures no tipping, and a good fit.

Handgun Control, Inc. says they want to "Keep guns out of the wrong hands."
Guess what?
You have the wrong hands.0 -
Plastic, much easier to keep clean, lighter and more compact. 0 -
I do not like the static I get when using plastic. If they get too soiled I'll drill out more blocks from wood-working scraps. 0 -
I prefer wood...
