WHY ISN'T THE 22 MAGNUM USED FOR SEMI AUTO HANDGUNS? IT'S BALLISTICS ARE BETTER THAN A 32, COMPARAREABLE TO THE "NEW" 32 MAG, BETTER THAN 380'S AND FAR BETTER THAN 22'S AND I NEDEDN'T EVEN COMMENT ON A 25.?
I DON'T GET IT. It would seem that the only problem would be over penetration which could easily be solved by bullet type. What am I missing?

    I'm looking for a tube-fed 22 magnum bolt action or semi-auto rifle. Any suggestion on the best for the money?

    Unfortunately, reloading is out of the question because you're talking about a rimfire cartridge. Depending on the gun you have, you may have the option of shooting .22 LR (using a replacement cylinder or upper; DO NOT attempt to shoot .22LR in your gun configured as a .22 magnum). What gun is it?

    Its a marlin bolt action

    Look for ammo at gun shows.I have seen PMC .22 mag for about 5 bucks a box but I don't know how good or bad PMC is.
