4 position Stock

Can you install a 4 position stock for an AR on a post ban AR? I know the old collapsible ones are illegal but how about the 4 position?

  Dont kid yourself. They are still categorized as "collapsible" no matter how many positions they are capable of and therefore illegal on any post ban receiver.What is wrong with a standard A2 stock anyway that people tend to cross the limits of their equipments legality?-Smooth

  A 4 position collapsible stock is still a collapsible stock. It could have 2 positions and it would be illegal on a post-ban gun.
