Colt 70 series slide fits Kimber custom??

Will a Colt 70 series slide fit a Kimber Custom? The Kimber has no firing pin block so it should work??ThxPaul

  Yes, however, as with any slide to frame mating, there may well be some fitting required for optimal performance.

  Don't the Kimbers have a firing pin safety? If so, the Series 70 slide will not have the feature, and it will probably have to be removed from the Kimber frame.
