Remington Model 8 & 81

Would like to know if this is a John Browning designed rifle, and if Browning ever made an early 1900's repeating rifle and what model that would be? Thanks

  John Browning and C.C. Loomis are credited with the design/incention for the Rem Mod 8,C.C. Loomis is the only one credited with the Rem Mod 81. I realize you had another question, but because of the brain dead SW that runs this board I can't see your question.

  I was trying to findout if Browning made a version of the remington model 8/81. Similiar to the Remington model 11 and browning A-5. Thanks
