What is the value......?
Found a New 6 inch Barrel, Blue .22 Mag for Colt Trooper MK III, and New .22 Mag Cylinder in Blue. This is all required to change a .22 LR MK III to a .22 Mag gun. What is this "Conversion Set" of parts worth? Anyone?

Given this, It could be questionable from a value standpoint to change to the .22 Mag. Blue Book in 100% for a .22 Mag Blue Trooper MK III is $395 in the latest book. Would sure be a "fun" gun, though. Thanks for your help! 0 -
On most guns all you have to change is the cylinder ,why change the barrel ?

I have been told that a .22 LR has a different diameter bullet than a .22 Magnum. It is my understanding that if a gun is made to work with either of these cartridges, then the barrel bore is slightly large for the LR and slightly small for the .22 mag to enable use of both. This can and sometimes affects the accuracy of the gun......Someone help me here......Right or Wrong? 0 -
Wrong on the bullet dia's. the are the same.Ruger made the Single six convertable for years and no barrel change required just change the cylinder. 0
