Witness or Taurus PT145

I think I have finally decided to make the jump and get a 45 for CC. I think I have narrowed it down to the Witness Compact or Taurus PT145. Other than my own preference for feel is there any pros or cons either way. By the way these both also fit into my budget which is important.

  I've shot and carried both. Stay with the Witness Poly Compact. It'll take the abuse better associated with everyday carrying, it's 8 rds, as opposed to 10 rds., for a lighter firearm, it's not DAO like the Taurus and I like the sights better. I'm sure you'll carry an extra mag., right?Tideman

  I think I may have been swayed. I was all prepared to go to the Taurus until the Witness name kept popping up all over this board. I guess it's time to start shopping.
