Luger questions

I don't know much about Lugers, but I recently aquired one that I think is a 1917, but it is also stamped 1920 in the same style. Also, the number 149 is on the left side of the slide and 49 is on all of the other parts. What do I have? Is the serial number 149? Is it worth the $300 I gave for it? Thanks in advance.

  From what I've seen, $300 is an okay price for a luger, even if it's only a shooter. Parts alone will run more than that.

  If both of those date stamping appear on the chamber area, it should also have the DWM markings. Probably one of the bajillion arsenal reworks that were issued to German military and police units after WW-1.For $300 you did well. Not a killing, but you did well.
