Standard Arms out of Business?
I returned two SA-40 handguns to Standard Arms for repair. They never returned them and when I tried to contact them, their phone has been disconnected. I have even contacted the ATF and they don't know where they're at. Does anyone know who was behind Standard Arms? Or how they could be contacted. It'd be nice to get the guns back. The guns were Serial #'s 00280 and 00292, both .40 Cal.

From what I can find out... Standard Arms was owned by a James N Waldorf from Nevada. He also was involved with Longley Arms until 1996 and Locin Engineering in NY. Both are gone. Standard Arms was dissolved earlier this year. The phone and web site were shut down after Thanksgiving. I also had sent back a .40 for repairs and received it back. (It still didn't work right). I had problems with the slide latch, and trigger spring. What problems did you have? 0 -
Both guns would not feed properly-at least not consistently. I talked to them on the 14th of Oct. and they said the magazines had been redesigned and they were shipping the guns to me on the 16th. That was the last I heard from them. Thanks for the info, though. 0
