hey ...I'm new here and have a question..I sold a Traditions .50 Cal blackpowder rifle on the auction, I live in California, and the buyer lives in Virginia, do I need him to send me an FFL for the rifle??? Seems like I don't need one since you can get the same rifle from the Cabela's and Basspro mail order catalog, and they ship it right to the house...

    You can send it direct, as blackpowder firearms are exempt from BATF red tape. Welcome to the board.
