308 handloads for HK-91, CETME, G3

I have sold a few of these guns and have been asked a number of times by customers if standard handloads for the 308 win are ok to use. I heard a while ago that 7.62 NATO specs were a little different than our standard commercial ammo. Anybody have input? I would appreciate some load recipies if you have them. Thanks!

  Don't use heavy bullets or slow powdersH4895 40.5 grains of powder150-168 grain bullet is usually goodcpermd

  AA2520 meters very well through a rotor and gives excellent accuracy. Some weigh every charge, but I have found that +/- 0.5 grain at the 50-grain level makes less difference than natural variability.
