Para Ordance Parts

Will Colt slide parts fit a full size Para Ordance slide? I have a bare slide, a Colt barrel but nothing else.

Last time I checked, Para's slides are not cut for a standard barrel bushing (the Para uses a bull barrel with out a bushing). The other parts - extractor, firing pin, etc. should work fine.

Thanks for the info. Just thought I might make a second top for a Colt Gov.

Some older p-14 (full size para's) were not within specifications with a Colt. The newer ones are. However the barrel and feed ramp are all one piece with the Para and thus the Colt barrel will not work. Also, the slide stop pin is NOT the same as a Colt. You would have to order this part from Para in Canada.

Thanks for the info. I found that the Colt hammer will not close in the Para O. slide, it's to wide,or the slide slot to narrow. With the slide stop installed the slide will not lock up all the way. Oh well, just a thought I had in building a second top half.
