Is this an antique 38WCF or a recent rifle? 0 -
YES THIS IS AN OLD GUN, I JUST WAS TRYING TO FIND OUT IF IT WAS PRE 1900, THANKS JOHN 0 -
If it is an old gun then it must be chambered 38-40. Would have been made prior to 1906, made with both round and octagon barrel.Other Cal for the were 25-20, 32-20, and 44-40. 0 -
THANKS FOR THE INFO, THAT WILL HELP JOHN 0 -
According to my references,a 60,000 s/n range in "38" makes this rifle an 1889 (s/n25000-100000). The 1894 had a s/n range of from 107,678 to 355,245. 0 -
AGAIN THANKS FOR THE INFO, I JUST PICKED IT UP AND I DONOT KNOW THAT MUCH ABOUT MARLINS, THANKS AGAIN JOHN 0
