You could not ask for better quality at a reasonable price.Dave is an excellent person to deal, with and a bundle of laughs once you get to know him and has a great bass telephone voice. They are building me a 12 gauge sizing die for my old Herter's press, so I can get rid of the old Lyman Ideal dies and hydraulic jack I have been using.Ballard Rifle Company was the one's who suggested CH4D to me. Believe me, I trust Ballard's recommendations.I forgot - their web site is www.ch4d.com. Their snail mail address is P. O. Box 889 - Mt. Vernon, Ohio 43050. The phone is (740) 397-7214 and fax number is (740) 397-6600. Their catalog is $2.00.[This message has been edited by AdamsQuailHunter (edited 12-09-2001).]

They have a web site, and their catalog is worth the price.

Jon, they are making me a set of .44-90 Rem Spl dies. Has been an interesting process, but all my emails were answered promptly. Also have a couple of their sets in more conventional calibers. Emery

In the 70's I was the top salesman for the C-H tool company and suggested they change their 3 position H press and Auto Champ presses to 4 position to take a taper crimp die. I then sold the majority of the Autochamps and still have conversion kits and parts for them. 4D made the tood for C-H and I sold the whole line as being less pretty than RCBS but heavier duty and stronger and best for the price. If I was still active C-H would be better known.Paul Jones retired 1979saeco95687@yahoo.comSend for my Saeco tools sale.

In 1962 I bought a CH 3 die press. I load about 2500 to 3000 rounds a yr with it. I think it is still a good a press as a lot of the new ones. Doesn't have all the fancy features, but is a solid press. Also have some of there dies-no problem with them.
