There's an Ithaca 12ga double with a Japanese bayonet attached, in the Ithaca Gun Co museum. It was captured from a sniper shot out of a tree in WW2. 0 -
A 28 would hardly qualify as a sniper round but could have been used as a forager gun. They probably used them to add fresh meat to their riceballs.Read about "rice wine" it contains whole mice,5 to a bottle.Sounds like the 1000 year old eggs.MAN O MAN what a diet. It's no wonder they would rather die than go back to that stuff. We helped them as often as was possible.[This message has been edited by modoc (edited 12-10-2001).] 0 -
It has been a while but one was in the shop for an appraisal - I was told it was around 30 guage as a 28 ga. would not fit and was made up on the Murata single shot action and stock. 0
