hi all
im looking to download a few rounds in 6.5x55 for short range plinking use (yawn) for the teenage daughter at the range.(25yds)
& must be no more than 1710fps muzzle velo.
i have looked all over with not much success, can ya's help.
which head & powder??
a good site to refer to would be cool, too.

Remington, Kimber, and Sako, also have or had rifles in the Swede. Remington had a short run of them. I used to own a 96 Mauser Customized by Kimber, I sold it to my Cousin. Sako still makes them.

Winchester also chambered their featherweight model in 6.5x55 for a short time. 0 -
Winchester made the featherweight in 6.5x55 Swede at least through last year. Steyer also chambers rifles for this round. 0 -
I have a Winchester Featherweight now and love it, but I wish Ruger would come out with a stainless, synthetic stock version. I would buy one in a heart beat. Georgia arms has the best ammo I have found for the Swede. They have 120gr Ballistic Tips at 2850fps. Tack drivers.
