WTK - info and value on a CRDC laser sight

found a laser sight - CRDC laser systems group - "on duty laser". like new but it is a 1996 model. is this co out of business and is laser too obsolete? cost about $450 new.(saw receipt) it was top of the line in 96 according to swat mag. I never heard of this model or co. - any info would be appreciated. also whats a factory mag for the desert eagle 50 run price wise?
