I purchased the model 43 12ga. w/multi choke 28" bbl. sxs a couple months ago. It's a sweet, well made shotgun for the money. I paid $300 for it and I shopped for a long time, looking at alot of different makes[ Browning, Beretta, Rem., etc] before making my decision. I have not been disappointed. The finish is excellent & the price was right. What more could you ask for?Tideman

I bought one of their single barrel models with removable chokes and have to agree, it is a great value for the money.

Thanks guys, that's what I was hoping to hear. I figured that if the Russians made them they would be plenty rugged but maybe a little rough around the edges. If they're finished off nicely like you say it sounds like a steal at $300.
