Russian made shotguns
Anybody have 1st hand experience with the cheap Russian side by side doubles from EAA? I swapped off my old no-name 16 ga. double barrel a few years ago and now I have the urge for another one. I don't intend to do any serious wing shooting with it. I just want a utility type gun I can haul around in the pickup rack without worrying about it if the finish gets banged up. Also, what are those going for at gunshows these days?

I purchased the model 43 12ga. w/multi choke 28" bbl. sxs a couple months ago. It's a sweet, well made shotgun for the money. I paid $300 for it and I shopped for a long time, looking at alot of different makes[ Browning, Beretta, Rem., etc] before making my decision. I have not been disappointed. The finish is excellent & the price was right. What more could you ask for?Tideman

I bought one of their single barrel models with removable chokes and have to agree, it is a great value for the money.

Thanks guys, that's what I was hoping to hear. I figured that if the Russians made them they would be plenty rugged but maybe a little rough around the edges. If they're finished off nicely like you say it sounds like a steal at $300. 0
