Can anyone tell what cals. the left hand 788s were made in ?

Saw a lefty in .308 a while back,the guy wouldn`t take under $350.for it. I wanted it for my son,but not that bad!!Side note:bought myself a right handed one today in 30-30,and a .308 last week..218

I saw a Rem 788 in left hand just the other day in .243 Winchester. I have also seen them in 30-06

I have a 6mm 788.Not sure whatother calibers. For Sale too.

Remington only made the 6mm and the .308 ina left hand version. Any others have been modified by gunsmiths. I have also seen one in a 7mm-08, but it was redone.

bluemule- Could you clarify please. Are you saying that the 6mm and the 308 are only offered on left hand 788s, and not right hand 788s?Or are you saying that the 788 left hand ONLY came in 6mm and .308.Not being a wise guy, I am just unsure of what you meant.
