Year of mfg. for 10/22?
I just got an older 10/22 at the gun shop today and am wondering if anyone out there can tell me about when it was made.The serial number is 129-61xxx. I've got a pre-94 10/22 that is a 239- number. Did Ruger start over after some point? Does anyone have an idea when this rifle was made?Thanks in advance.- Luger

Here is a number you can call to found out, it is 603-863-3300(Records Dept.), 8am to 4:30 pm, M-F. Hope that help.

Unsure of the year, but any prefix of 240-xxxx and below is a preban 10/22. 0
