ADL or BDL?

How can I tell if my model 700 (.243 Win) is an ADL or a Bdl model? Had it since I was 12 and still don't know. Thanks, Chad.

  I believe that the adl must be unloaded through the top as there is no "floor plate" as the bdl has. Then there's the wood question. Might try www.remington.com

  It has a wood stock (no black tip), and it is loaded/unloaded from the top--no floorplate. It bought it around 1984-85. Thanks. Chad.
