Can someone tell me the difference between Glock 34 and Glock 19 mags?

    Is this dano speaking or dano?What do you mean its not right? The last time I set up at a show (which has been a while now), tables were $50 each (I usually had 3 = $150) ... and if I remember correctly I was hoping to make a profit to help offset the cost of my meals & motel room (another $150 or so), and even MAYBE make a little profit to compensate for the travel and standing behind the table for 2 days! I figure I'm out $300 before The show even starts!On the other hand, 9mm Glock mags should be an easy sell even non-dropfree ... $35-40 probably would have been a go for me but that doesn't mean I wouldn't give 25 a shot ...

    Pardon my ignorance, but what's the difference between drop-free and non drop-free.-Marcus

    I dont concider myself an expert on Glock mags either, but from what I've read here, the way to identify the drop-free mags is on the back of the mag, at the top there is a notch cut (and you can see the primer if there is a round loaded) If the notch is U shaped it is a non-drop-free, if it is square notch it is drop-free ... hope this helpsWhere are all the Glock Experts when you need them?     I am often amused at gun shows with people's insistance on drop-free mags, not to mention their willingness to pay more money for them. I once asked a guy if he carried an extra full mag with him. Like most, he said, "No". Then, what difference does it make if the mag drops free or not? Unless one is in law enforcement or competition shooting, it is much ado about nothing.

    The drop-free mags have a metal plate that runs lengthwise down the back, inside. As you look through the holes in the back of the mag, you will notice a hole in the plastic and through this metal strip. It just adds weight. The U on the non-drop is a hot brand melted into the body of the mag on the back just above the floor plate. Even the non-drop I've seen were going for $50-$60.
