Smith and Wesson Model 17 Value

What is a S&W Model 17 worth? It has target grips, 8 3/8 inch barrel, rear target sights, target trigger and hammer. The barrel may be pinned and the cylinders recessed, I'm not sure. Is this possibly a K-38????

  No, its not a K-38, it is a Model-17, the 8 3/8 barrel was disc. in 1992, the model run was disc, in 1985.it should be worth, 250 to 350 depending on condition.If its nice and the price is right, buy it, you'll be happy, they are great guns.KK
