  The "Other Good Book" says, "Jonathan Browning Mountain Rifle-50 Cal. Percussion, 30 in. octagon barrel, single set trigger, engraved lock plate, select walnut stock, cased with medallion and powder horn, 1,000 mfg. in 1978. Issue price-$650. Current values: 95% $400, 98% $595, 100% 750. So, I guess the answer to your question is: one year only, 1978. I just threw in the rest of the stuff FYI. Also listed is: Mountain Rifle-.45 or .54 cal., percussion, similar to Jonathan Browning Mountain Rifle, without Centennial embellishments, not cased, values: 60% $250, 90% $400, 100% $595.
