Can anyone tell me something about a Remington XP-100R? Is this a model 700? How long is the barrel? Accurate? Any information would be helpful. Larry

  It's a bolt action pistol ...The action is a Mod.600...

  Generally it's used for hunting or silhouette shooting. RG

  The original XP100 was based on the 600 Remington action. I believe the current XP100R is based on the Model 7 action.
