This stuff is made by the same factory that makes all the ammo for the russian military, and I don't believe the red army would use junk that would foul and gum up their guns.my dealer tries to tell me the same thing, but just because he is a dealer doesn't mean he knows everything. makes him mad that I buy nothing but Wolf ammo, but its cheaper than the other U S loaded crap and I've never had a problem out of it! happy shooting-Ralph
Nothing very, very good or very, very bad lasts for very, very long.0 -
The 7.62X39 is great. I have never seen any problems with the AK ammo. The problems are with the steel cased .223 ammo and the pistol ammo. That is the worst ammo I have ever seen. 0 -
I've had NO problems with Wolf. 9mm, 7.62, .45. None at all. I'd be hesitant to use it in an AR, mostly because it's a notoriusly touchy weapon.-Marcus 0 -
I just wish the Germans designed their pistols with the cheap steel cased ammo in mind like the Russians did. My USP 40 still chokes on Wolf ammo. 0 -
The problem is that the lacquer tends to come off of the cases and gum up the chamber as the rifle gets hotter. Doesn't seem to be a problem with AK's, SKS's or Makarov's (note the similar country of origin), but DOES cause problems with other calibers. In fact, I wont even stock Wolf in any other calibers.
