Colt 1911 marked "the general" in spanish .38 super
My friend saw a Colt series 80 1911 for sale that is blued in .38 super. This gun is in the blue colt plastic case and appears like new. It has "El Generally" (I don't know how it's spelled) marked on the slide and has the high polish blue. Does anyone know anything about this gun and its possible value?

As Saxon Pig stated they are newer guns. They are really popular here in South Texas. I've seen El Capitan, El General, and others in blue, royal blue, nickel, two tone, gold, and engraved, most all in 38 Super. Going rate here is about $1200 depending on how much or how little flash they have on them. 0 -
