On my continuing quest for an AK type weapon, I saw a couple of these at a gun show today. I noticed they were from Romania. Are these of the same quality and reputation as the SAR-1? Anyone with experience with one, I'd like to hear your thoughts.-Marcus 0 -
I believe the wasr 10 is only supposed to take a 10 round magazine, otherwise same. 0 -
Really? The tag on the gun stated "accepts all military AK mags'. Was he full of crap? How do you tell if it's a military mag anyway? Also it had a Draganov stock on it. I find these stocks don't fit my shoulder the way I'd like. How much does it cost to change the furniture on an AK? Is it easy to do?-Marcus 0 -
Evidently, it's easy to "modify" the gun to take hi cap mags, but I believe they are intended for 10 round mags and are subsequently cheaper than an sar-1 because of that. Unfortunately, some people sell them altered for the same price as a sar-1 and make a bigger profit. I learned this because I bought a wasr-10 and when my dealer registered it he explained this to me and showed me his price on a wasr-10 as opposed to a sar-1. It was about $75.00 cheaper. All that aside, it shoots great with the hi cap mags. 0
