all i know is that olymic is the one to get if you dont wanna spend a ton of money but still want an ar15.....i personally consider anything .223 and smaller a plinker. 0 -
Nothing wrong with the Oly! About the only cheaper pre-ban you can get is the PWA, they don't command a very high price either ... I've seen post-ban Bushmasters (basic 16" or 20") go for more and that makes no sence to me at all ... I picked my pre-ban PWA shorty from a guy that had been trying to get $1000 for 2 months ... when a friend called me and asked if I'd be interested for $700, I told him concider it sold! (and that was sight unseen) I was even happier when I saw it as it was in almost pristene condition, 16" full length heavy barrel, all aluminum collapsable stock and its all mil-spec to boot!

Hitman, I suggest you spend a little more money and get the Oly PCR4 or PCR5.I've got the PCR4 and it has been great! I did have some feeding problems with feeding hollow points, but that seems to have been a break-in problem. I've fired couple of hundred rounds and polished the feed ramps. Problem has not returned.I like my PCR4 so much, I would likely buy a PCR5 flattop if the price was reasonable. 0
