I have heard good and bad about the Taurus Millenium. What exactly are the problems with it?

  does anyone own or have fired a taurus pt111 9mm?? what are your thoughts on it?? what night sights would be compatible with this particular model??

  According to Gun Test Mag. there's nothing wrong with it. They rated it above the Kel-Tec and Standard Arms SA-9. They state that the 40S&W and 45 calibers may be too much for this gun, but 9mm is just right. They would buy it.

  It is a beautiful little gun. Very well made as far as I can see. It has a trigger pull about a mile long and pretty rough. But it is a Double action only gun and it may smooth out some. Pull is rated at like 12 lb.

  I have one it has about 600 rounds through it with no problems.

  Thanks for your positive comments. What I hear around here is nothing but negative on the gun. Could you tell me what issue of Gun Test magazine the Taurus review was in, or any other magazines where I might find some info?

  The NRA's magazine "American Rifleman" July 2001 issue, very positive article. I bought mine used, it is very reliable. It has a long heavy DAO trigger pull, perfect for concealed carry(its not a target pistol).
