AR Type Mags

What type do I stay away from? Which are most reliable? I am looking at 30rd mags only. I have heard Orlite and Thermold are good. What about the military contract mags?

  Only get USGI contract mags or ThermoldsUSGI 30s are going for $17USGI 20s are going for over $20 usually

  Can be tricky, the link below is an excellent source, go there and click on M15/AR15 Mag FAQ. http://www.recguns.com/OutIIId2b.html Stay away from any mags that aren't GI contract or Thermold, they are much more of a gamble.[This message has been edited by ED P (edited 11-02-2001).]
