Savage "Fox FA-1"

I have an opportunity to purchase a Fox FA-1, 12 gauge. Looks in good shape but I know nothing about this gun. Any comments on it.Thanks,

  Fox is a pretty nice shotgun. The Savage Fox is a definate step up from the 311. If it's in good shape, the price is right, and a side by side is what you want, buy it. [This message has been edited by Der Gebirgsjager (edited 11-03-2001).]
