retail on 10/22 mag?

anyone know the current price for a new ruger 10/22 magazine? i bought one a couple of years ago in a retail store for $7.95 and i saw some on a table at gunshow not long ago for $8 each. now i see them selling at auction for $12-$14 each plus $4 shipping. i am just curious as to what you would pay in gun shop for one now. $16-$18 sounds awfully high to me.
