Never have seen a Winchester model 80. Do you mean a model 1890?

It could be a model 90 instead of model 80 the number is a little hard to make out, but no it is not a model 1890.

The model was changed from model 1890 to model 90 by grinding the 19 off the roll die. Later when they made a new die the mod 90 without the space die was made. they are all the same gun basicly. All 1890's were chambered for only one caliber like short or long or wrf not interchangeable.

VALUE: minimum if the rifle shoots: $235If it's in "good" condition, then let's assume there's 40 to 60% of the blueing left (that is to say there's no bare spots anywhere, but the blue color itself is about 40-60% of what 'brightness' it was when it left the factory: value= $360-450. (If it's of a brownish luster ALL of it's 'blueing' is gone and it probably is worth $230-275). If you are on the East Coast, add 10%. If you auction it on this site giving a picture or two, and a good word discription, you'll get the best price from knowledgeable buyers from across the US.
