Which Ones ?
Ok, starting looking at adding to the ole collection again. Given the following choices which would you choose...1 Marlin 1895G 45-70or2 H&R "Ultra Rifles" one in 25-06, and one in 308 both with the laminate stocks/heavy barrelsAll would be NIB

H&R, .308 gives longer range, more versatility and ammo is cheaper and easier to come by.Just one mans opinion.Hell, buy 'em both ! 0 -
I`d like to have one to go with my other Marlins, which are from .218Bee to 35 rem. to the 375 Win that I just picked up..218 0 -
I have all three, buy the 25-06 first,26" barrel, great accurate gun, then the .308, 22" barrel, the the 1895, I love them all three, but why not just go ahead and get the .450 Marlin as well and have 2 complete sets.

I have an H & R .25-06 and I love it, but if you're not into reloading, the .308 is the best bet. 0
