Shotgun ammo question.

I'm looking for some advice on shotgun ammo.I've been using Remington Slugger rifled slugs in my 870 for as long as I can remember. Trouble is, the price of all that target practice is starting to bug me.Can anyone recommend a cheap 1 oz. 12 ga. slug that I can use for practice? I'm paying like $3.95 for a box of 5 Sluggers, so any improvement over that would be great.

  Call A.G.E., Inc at 1-800-896-4867 for 1&1/8th oz Brenneke rounds @ $2.79/bx. A case (200rds) cost $100+shipping. Is that a deal, or what?

  And the Brenneke shoots better and seems to hit with more energy in my 870.

  Just to be sure about your comment:Whatever you sight in with and "practice" with should be what you hunt with...if you hunt with a slug different from what you sighted in with will probably print in a different place...
