Uzi B vs Uzi A

can anyone tell me why a B model Uzi may be more valuable then a Uzi A model or visa versa? thanks all

  The "A" model will run a bit more expensive. The reason being is the design. Comparable to a Pre-ban AR to a politicaly correct AR. I will not further that in more than the "A" model is of a closer design to the actual Uzi and is therefore more sought after.Andy

  I am sitting here looking at a B in 45 and an A in 9mm.The barrels and bolts are differenet due to caliber.The sights are the main difference I see.I am obviously missing something so please let me know the specifics.cpermd

  On a previous post, I said the only difference was in the sights, but someone contradicted me, saying there were other differences. At one time, I had an A, and traded it. I still have a B. A friend with an A wondered about the difference and we stripped both to compare them. It has been a while, but I remember that we could not see any differences. Maybe we missed something. The popular rumor was that the A was easier to convert to full auto, but the parts seemed the same to me. Anybody have both that they can compare for us?

  The "A" will accept drop in FA parts the "B" will not.

  What is it about the A that allows the FA parts to be "dropped in" that in the B does not allow it? In looking at the receivers and trigger group, I could not see any difference between the A and the B, but perhaps I missed a bracket or boss inside the receiver or something similar.Based on the rumors about the A being easy to convert to full auto, when beginning the comparison, I expected to find something like the block in later AR-15 rifles that prevents auto-sears from being dropped in, but I saw nothing of that nature being any different in the A compared to the B. Did I miss something?
