hi new to the gun buying portion of my life . i saw an ad for a glock 19 with a compensated barrel what does that mean thanks steve

  dont laugh!!
  can someone explain to me what the exact purpose of a compensated barrel is?? and what effect does it have on shooting?( reduced accuracy,etc..)-thanks in advance

  FAC sells them.They are OK.Appear to be silver soldered on.I am sure there are several other sources.cpermd
