Winchest Heavy Varmint Stock
I have a beaver tail forearm Stock, that came off of my Short Action Model 70 Pushfeed. I believe it was made buy H.S. Precision. It has an Aluminum Bedding Block. I put the rifle in another stock, and was wondering what a fair re-sale value would be? If you order the same stock from H.S.Precision, It's over $250.00. Is $150.00 a fair asking price? Or is that not in line. I have not seen one like it for sale on auctions, so I don't have much to go by. Any help would be appreciated.

does the stock have pillars or does it require you to bed the rifle, in a short action, for some odd reason they command a higher price than long action, seems as though everyone has a long action in stock but want you to order a short action, what condition, any marks, does it have glass bedding material left in the stock, how old is it, how big is the barrel channel, these would be contributing factors, you would almost have to have someone lined up with the exact setup you had, I know this is vague, but you can put it up for auction and set that $150 as you reserve price, this will tell you what it will command. Also check brownells latest catalog for their price on a new one, and call several dealers. Some one elst to ask vhq2 @ www.vh2q.com seem he always know's someone in the market for varmint stuff, I hope this helps, he has a post under the same name, contact him and he'll help you
