The receivers are completely compatable with the HK parts. There are some slight differences when you start to mix the parts, such as the grip frame and the plastic grip but nothing that cant be modified a little to fit correctly ... the only thinh I dont like about the Cetme is the stock seems to be quite a bit shorter than the HK. I've heard too the the Cetme wont accept the HK mags but I belive that is only the Original Cetme's not the new clones on the market ... at any rate the Cetme mags are quite sturdy and conciderably less expensive than the HK mags, I bought several to use in my G3 clone and they work fine in it but dont fit quite as tight as the HK mags. Now is the time to buy them, their probably as cheep as they are going to get. Hope this helps!

Check out www.hkweaponsystems.com (HK91.com). There is a lot of current information there. Best, Robert

The Cetme was the prototype rifle that the Hk 91 was based upon. It was designed for production by the Spanish Army, then the designers somehow were able to contract the design to HK. The article I read did not elaborate on the switch to HK. I have ordered mags from 3 different sources and they all look identical. I have tested 5 and they all work. The G3/Hk91 parts kits I've seen are listed separately from the Cetme on the same page, so there are probably some differences.
