The Colt you have is the Delta Gold Cup Stainless. 10mm cal. Accro adjustable rear sight;adjustable trigger;wrap-around grips stainless steel finish.Mfg.1989-1993and re-released 1995-96. I wasn't able to look up the serial number to see when this one was produced. The listed price new was $1027 blue book has $900 at 100%.If you are thinking about selling it I would sell it here at Gunbroker because a dealer would not pay retail for the pistol.

Don't want to start any arguments, here, klic, but I believe what Gunslinger has is a Stainless Gold Cup Trophy. These are .45 ACPs,available from Colt's Custom Shop only.Delta Gold Cups are not Custom Shop pistols.Value,about$900.00,depending on condition.

Phil, You are right. The Custom Shop stamp did throw me a curveball. It is a hard to find model I would keep it if it were mine!!

You know,it's odd-I have a Colt's Custom Shop pistol, too, but mine has its model designation stamped on the left side of the slide, like normal;the custom shop designation is in the serial number(SCG...for Special Combat Government). It's funny that Gunslinger's gun has nothing on the slide-heck,it might be some special order something or other-I didn't think you could do that with Colt's,but these days, who knows?

Thank you guys for the help. A friend of mine thought maby the gun was made by someone who worked for colt or new someone who did.He said the same thing as colt dident not mark either MK IV or SERIES 80 on the slide. We never thought about the ss# not stating the model of the pistol as well. And as for colt, I tryed to ask them and of course no response. They did say for a fee they could run a search on a gun, but i belive thats only on the SAA pistols. Not on the autos and like newer six guns.. They basically told me that I dont have this gun..Who knows. I picked it up at small gun show were the dealer selling it took it in for a loan for someone he knows that never paid back so sold it to me for what he had in to the loan..
