My book, The Gun Traders guide list it as a 1 of a 1000, a 20'th anniversary commerative rifle, if this is correct, it list the gun as being in these conditions:Mint : $1245Excellent : $995Very Good : $845Good : $675 Fair : $348Poor : $150It also says that only 1000 rifles were made, and it list the calibers as: 270,7mm rem mag,308,30.06,300 win mag,375 h&h mag, and 458 win mag, it does not stae how many of each caliber were produced, if they produced an equal amout of each caliber, so based on these figures, say if they only made 25 of one caliber, like the 30.06, it would drive the price even higher. Remember the gun is only worth what it will sell for. The $1400 dollar sounds to me to be more approriate than the $15,000. I hope this helps, are you looking to sell the rifle or have it appraised?
