I'm unable to come up with one of these in .22 centerfire. I know this caliber did exist but all my references to this Reid is in .22 rimfire. They made two frames in these a brass one and an iron one. The brass frames were silver plated, the iron ones blued. Only about 350 of the iron framed ones made. Values depending on condition: brass - $300 - $500 iron framed ones $400 - $600. Hope this helps.

Thank you for you reply. As my knowledge of firearms is lacking it is entirely possible that what I have is rim fire vs center fire. How would I tell the difference?

Look at the metal surface thru which the firing pin protrudes. You should be able to see a well-defined coloration left by the cases of cartridges fired in this weapon. If the firing pin is on the edge of this image, it's a rim-fire. If it's centered, center-fire is the style. In .22, my guess is it's rim-fire.

Thank you for replying. It is indeed a rimfire .22. Your help is much appreciated.
