30-30 ackley ?

ok what is it and how does it inprove it ,do u modifi ur 30-30 brass for reloading and what do u modifiy with it ,can u use factory loads as well ,what else may be needed to reload with the inprovemnt ?

  It's an impressive cartridge when compared with the 30/30, from the Ackley book(s) it looks like you gain about 500 fps over the standard 30/30. Generally, you get the cahmber reamed and then using 30/30 brass you'd fire form Ackley brass in your new chamber. Then you take that newly formed brass and start working up 30/30 loads.

  Yup, you can get about another 500+ fps out of the cartridge.When you get your rifle rechambered, you shoot normal .30-30 brass thru it, when you eject the case it will come out reshaped to the .30-30AI, and ready to reload.
