Winchester 94, 30-30 takedown
Looking at a winchester 94, 30-30, takedown. It looks clean and is in excellent working condition. it was manufactured in 1906 I believe, serial number 87318*.Any idea what this rifle would be worth? What should I be looking for in it? Is this worth collecting? Thanks for all responses in advance.

Stewart-"It looks clean" are the operational words here. What is clean in percent of finish remaining and overall condition? The book says, "10% condition=$350, 60%=$725, 98%=$1,550, add 20% for takedown." There's everything inbetween. 0 -
The Winchester 1894, 30-30, takedown, full octagon barrel, full length magazine, has 70-80% Blue on receiver and 80%+ on barrel. Stock is in good shape no cracks good color norma wear and tear. Operates well no mechanical difficulty.Owner is asking $1,100? Does that sound fair? 0 -
Yes, it's worth collecting if it is the factory blue, and is as you describe. Trouble with percentage of blue remaining is that it varies from person to person. But, if it aproximates your description, $1,100 would be a good value for the seller/buyer. 0
