Accuracy should be comparable between the two. As for the folding stock, neither the MAK 90 or the Romanian can legally have a folding stock. Both didn't start coming in until after the 1989 Assault Weapons ban.(MAK 90 importation started 1990-1991 and the Romanian 1997)It is common to find better metal finish and fit on the MAK 90. The Romanian are more like the Russian and Egyptians functional, but not pretty. The nicest ones came from Hungaria, Bulgaria, and Yugoslavia. They were nice to look at, as well as functional.

The norinco mak 90 will never jam on you. It is quite a machine. As for accuracy, the ak47 was built to shoot, without a jam, thus the fit is a bit loose, it passed the sand test just fine. However, dont expect to get the same accuracy as you would out of an SKS. The SKS it much more accurate, but the Ak47 is just a lot more fun. The sand test is where the experts got a little sand and dropped it into the action. The ar15 failed as did many other guns. But if you want a gun that will shoot get the AK47,

Thanks a lot for the answers, went ahead today and got the Romanian Sar 1 today.Don`t know how in groups, but it dosen`t seem to jam.I cleaned it up . Seems like it would be fun to shoot. Also layed away a Russian SKS at a real good price today. It dosen`t look like it has the Norinco chrome bore. Thanks again,DD
